How does CloX work?
Fully Customizable
CloX moves subtly across the screen every minute to prevent burn-in. You have full control over its appearance:
- Time & Date: Toggle 12/24-hour format and choose whether to display the date.
- Weather (Pro) & Alarm: Show the current temperature and see your next alarm at a glance.
- Style (Pro): Pick your own font and size, with dedicated colors and brightness levels for day and night.
Automation via Intents (Pro)
CloX is unique because it can be controlled in the background by automation apps like Tasker or Macrodroid. You simply send a Broadcast Intent to the app's Receiver Class containing the correct Extras, instantly updating settings without opening the app.
How to copy the code?
Simply long-press a setting in the CloX app. It will instantly copy the complete configuration (including Action, Class, and Extras) to your clipboard!
Tasker Example: Location Task
To save battery, CloX doesn't constantly poll your GPS location. You can use an app like Tasker for this. Download a ready-to-use Task below that sends your current location to CloX. You can then link this Task to a Profile of your choice, for example, when your phone is placed horizontally (landscape) on a wireless charger.
